It is a push to ensure that every Harris County child receives health insurance. Health officials on last week announced a citywide drive to sign up every qualified kid in area for Medicaid and CHIP coverage. It's called the 100 percent campaign.
The effort would further consist of a bilingual billboard campaign with signs posted in neighborhoods with high numbers of children with no insurance.

With college classes beginning up again soon, new students have started to register for orientation and gearing up for the fall semester. Among the many things desirable to prepare for the transition, many students and their parents neglect the significance of student health insurance.
Check with your health insurer provider about how your insurance policy defines what's measured permanent for a student, and the maximum age they could be covered. Make sure you know that doctors and facilities in your area are covered under your insurance. Also, forever have a copy of pertinent insurance cards and know how to get sanction for medical coverage before seeking treatment.
