Austin (TEXAS) - Greg Abbott, Texas' Attorney General has proposed a program for the State's uninsured children which will offer private sector health insurances. This program has been aimed at 200,000 children who don't have any health/medical overage. During a program that outlined this proposal, the Attorney General said "This idea addresses an urgent need for children in the State of Texas in a way that keeps watchful eyes on taxpayer dollars". The Executive Commissioner of Health and Human Services said that, last month the state took its first step in seeking federal approval to begin another program to help out uninsured and low-income Texans pay for health insurances.
