Some college students might lose their health insurance after completion of graduation, but not if the Legislature passes a health care bill Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote.
The Health Care Security and Cost Reduction Act will now need all Californians to have health insurance and would assist make it more resonable by limiting premiums for low-income families, said Sabrina Lockhart, the governor's chief deputy press secretary. Last year, 6.5 million residents did not have health insurance policy for all or part of the year, according to the governor's proposal. If the act is passed, each California resident would be obligatory to have health insurance by July 1, 2010
