During last six months of meetings, the governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Health Care Costs and also discussed the access learned, which is 51 percent of Washington's 593,000 uninsured are only young adults, ages 19-34. They're also the greatest-growing section of the uninsured.
Although they're very healthy population, young adults as well appreciate the need for health insurance. The problem is, when weighed alongside the cost of purchasing health insurance in this state, they choose to take the risk of going without health insurance. The costs are an effect of Washington's heavily synchronized insurance laws.
