This plan is more flexible compared to HMO Plans . Members are given the option to choose a doctor from within the network or out of network. If member chooses a doctor out of insurance company’s network they have to pay a certain percentage of medical bills as well as deductibles.
This plan is same as PPO only if you go to an out of network provider you are responsible for all your medical costs.
A Health Savings account or HSA is an account that allows you to save your pre-tax money for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
