Like other Aetna MC health insurance plans, the MC Open Access High-Deductible 5000 Plan gives you the freedom to go directly to any recognized health care provider, including specialists, for covered expenses.
As a matter of fact, Aetna is offering individuals and their families’ nine new plan designs. Four of these plans, called Aetna Advantage plans, offer members the freedom to go directly to any doctor, hospital or health care professional – including specialists – for covered expenses, with no referrals required. All Aetna Advantage plans include routine checkups and preventive care, specialty care, hospitalization and surgery, diagnostic testing and emergency care, subject however to applicable co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles.
The Three Aetna Advantage Value plans offer members similar benefits to the Aetna Advantage plans.
