Workers compensation insurance claim The employee might request assistance from Information and Assistance Officer who would effort to assist and resolve the dispute informally. If that effort fails, the employee could file an application for final negotiation with the Workers Compensation Appeals Board, (WCAB). The Information and Assistance Officer might be able to help with this filing unless the injured worker has maintained a private attorney. The WCAB has exclusive authority for resolution of the dispute. About Medical treatment In workers
compensation insurance policy the employer is in charge for arranging
medical treatment for the first 30 days from the date of injury. If, prior
to an injury or any illness, an employee gives in written notice to the
employer selecting a personal physician, then the employee might go to
this physician for treatment immediately after an injury.
